Eiidddd Mubarak!!! 🎈
BUT IT IS NOT OVER YET — read this
Eid Mubarak sisterssssss 🎈🤍
but it’s not over yet.
Eid is also a day of worship, it is part of the 10 best days of the year— so do not forget Allaah and consequently forget your own selves.
A few things to be conscious of:
1 - Neglecting Dhikr; instead, continue the takbiraat as you go about your day
2 - Setting lofty intentions for cultural Eid practices: like giving food to neighbors, spending time with family, cooking meat, giving “goron sallah” (Eid Money/Gifts).
Set intentions so that these too may be recorded for you as good deeds in one of the best days of the year.
3 - Delaying Salah; it’s so easy to get carried away with “meat work” and other activities that you delay/rush through your salawaat.
The Allaah you were diligent in obeying yesterday is the same Allaah today, don’t be heedless or negligent.
4 - Tabarruj: beware of trespassing the boundaries that Allaah has set for you in your clothing and social interactions with non mahaarim men. Guard your modesty for the sake of Allaah (online + otherwise) and, choose instead to be of the honorable women.
5 - Excessiveness: be cautious of being excessive; in your speech, spending, eating, cooking etc. Be moderate, for excessiveness is the way of the shayateen.
6 - CELEBRATEEEEEE 🌸🥳; Allaah has chosen this day for us and legislated it as our day of celebration, so don’t be a spoil sport or party pooper, celebrate in all the ways Allaah has permitted for you to celebrate 🎉 that too is worship!
May Allaah make us of those who are steadfast in obedience to Him and accept from us and you,
Eidukum Mubarak my darling sistersss 🤍🌸
